The purpose of Cummins diesel generators

The production and operation of this electrical equipment is regulated by several international standards and directives:

ISO 8528 – defines the class of application as G2 (consumers – electric main and emergency lighting, ventilation, air conditioning systems, pumps, lifts and other engineering systems), as well as types of connection:
standby ESP,
for short-term power supply LTP,
primary power supply PRP
long-term constant COP;
ISO9001 – quality standard for the manufacture and assembly of plant components;
Directive 2000/14/EC – noise limits for generator operation.

Main components and characteristics of the units

The Cummins 1760-2500 diesel generator sets consist of:

4-stroke, 16-cylinder, 60.2 liters, turbocharged, direct injection V-type engine;
brushless alternator with 2/3 pitch stator and direct connection rotor (via disc flexible coupling);
radiator cooling system;
PowerCommand control panel version 3.3 (push-button and touch-sensitive, with LCD display and LED backlight);
frame, support frame and protective cover (for reference, see the table above).
