The Cummins line of industrial diesel generators with 6-liter BTA series engines are designed for small businesses, workshops, shops, offices and other buildings and structures. We present 4 modifications in terms of power and weight and dimensions: C90 D5, C110 D5, C150 D5 and C170 D5 (the digital index in the name indicates the operating volt-ampere characteristic).

Options for using Cummins C90 D5 – C170 D5 diesel generators

This equipment belongs to class G2 according to ISO 8525 (alternators), which means that the types of loads served are electrical main and emergency lighting, ventilation and air conditioning systems, alarm systems and other engineering networks, water pumps, compressors and elevators (lifts).

Cummins generators are used as:

• backup power sources for non-core consumers (emergency reserve);
  primary power supply for consumers with load fluctuations (no time limit, short-term overload of no more than 10% is allowed);
  main permanent power supply in systems where there is no municipal or factory power grid.

• powerful industrial diesel engine 6BTA – single-row 6-cylinder unit with a total volume of 5.9 liters, turbocharged, direct injection (C90D5, C110D5) or rotary pump (models 150 and 170), normal and heavy duty air filters, centrifugal oil filters, 12 V battery ignition, operating fuel consumption up to 35 l/h;
• Brushless alternator: rotor with flexible disk, single-bearing, 2/3 pitch stator, cooling by a blower fan, class H insulation;
• Power Command control panel – LCD display, backlit buttons, status indication (start, progress, error code);
• cooling system with a capacity of 10 liters (including the radiator volume), heat dissipation up to 8 kW.
