Diesel engines of the QSK23 series

The Cummins C825 D5 and C900 D5 power plants are medium-load electrical equipment for industrial facilities: factory workshops and complexes, workshops, commercial buildings (offices, banks, trading floors, pavilions, etc.). The power of these models is 600-720 kW, the current output is 825 and 900 kVA, respectively.

Scope of application and types of consumers in accordance with ISO8528

The products are designed to generate alternating electric current with a frequency of 50 Hz, with the main modes of voltage 220/380 V (additional options are given in the technical passport). Options for using Cummins 825-900 kVA diesel generators:

• as a backup UPS (power supply) for the ESP;
• LTP with time-limited LTP;
• Primary power supply for the main PRP consumers (variable loads are allowed without time limits);
• basic UPS for permanent autonomous power supply of facilities that are not connected to the general power grid.

According to the ISO8528 standard , Cummins Power C825D5 and C900D5 diesel power plants are classified as G2: maintenance of electric lighting systems, forced ventilation, pumping and compressor equipment, elevators and lifts.

Composition and characteristics of Cummins industrial generators

• The drive is a diesel 4-stroke single-row engine with 6 cylinders, volume – 23.15 liters, direct injection with turbocharging, with cooling, filters: dry air with replaceable elements, oil and fuel with water separators.
• Alternator: stator with 2/3 pitch windings, rotor with one support bearing, disk coupling with drive, type H insulation, cooling centrifuge fan.
• Microprocessor control with PowerCommand 3.3 command touch panel: large 320×240 pixel LCD display, LED backlight, digital error alarm.
• General cooling system with a radiator, 69 liters of coolant volume, heat transfer 71 kW (20965 BTU/min).
