Diesel engines of the QSK60 series

Unlike the QSK78 series, the C2750 D5B is equipped with a lightweight QSK60 engine with a smaller displacement (60.2 liters versus 77.6 liters). Nevertheless, these Cummins diesel generators are heavy-duty power equipment for supplying consumers with a power output of up to 2200 kW at a rated voltage of 2750 kVA. The units meet ISO9001 standards for manufacturing quality and are CE certified.

Application of Cummins QSK60 diesel power plants

The purpose of these power plants is to generate alternating electric current with a frequency of 50 Hz, 220 or 380 V (the list of additional modes by phase and voltage is given in the specification).

Connection options for C2750D5b diesel generators (according to ISO8528):

ESP (Emergency standby power) – emergency (backup) power supply in case of failures in the general power grid
PRP (Prime power) additional power supply to the main consumers without time limits, including variable load (10% overload is allowed according to ISO3046)

Structural elements of Cummins industrial diesel power plants:

• 4-stroke, V-shaped, 16-cylinder engine with a volume of 60.2 liters. Ignition voltage – 24 V (from the battery), two-stage fuel filters (7 micron and 3 micron mesh), dry air filters with replaceable elements;
• liquid cooling system with external radiators;
• brushless alternator, 2/3 stator winding, double-bearing rotor with disc damper clutch, H-class insulation for low- and medium-voltage windings, F-class insulation for high-voltage components, centrifugal cooling fan on the shaft;
• PMG is a permanent magnetic exciter for improved starting and short circuit protection;
• PowerCommand version 3.3 command panel with a liquid crystal screen and backlit sensor buttons. Digital display of operating modes (start, stop, error or fault code).
