Diesel engines of the QSK78 series

Cummins Power’s powerful industrial power plants with output capacities of up to 3000 kVA and up to 2.4 MW – models C2750 D5 and C3000 D5 – are designed for permanent and backup power supply to enterprises, commercial buildings and structures, construction sites. The units are CE certified and manufactured in compliance with ISO9001 quality standards.

Use of Cummins diesel power plants based on QSK78 engines

The equipment produces alternating electric current according to the main domestic standards – 50 Hz, 1 or 3 phases 220/280 V (other possible modes are given in the technical passport).

Application options for the C2750 D5 and C3000 D5 diesel generators:

• ESP (Emergency standby power) – emergency (backup) power supply to engineering systems and non-core consumers
• LTP (Limited-time running power) – short-term (within a few hours) supply of major consumers
• PRP (Prime power) and COP (Base (load continuous) power) – power supply without time limits, including variable load

Components of Cummins industrial diesel power plants:

• V-shaped diesel engine: 4 strokes, 18 cylinders, turbocharged with cooling, direct injection, volume – 77.6 liters, operating fuel consumption – up to 569 l/h, air consumption – 193 m3/min, emission performance according to 4g TA Luft standards (432 m3/min);
• alternator – brushless, 4-pole, 2/3 pitch stator, double-bearing rotor, flexible disk coupling, insulation classes F and H;
• microprocessor control system with PowerCommand version 3.3 command panel (320×240 pixels LCD display, touch buttons with LED backlighting);
• radiator external cooling system.

The unit can be operated both in an open design and in a closed design (with a protective casing).
