Bauer GIB-SP Series Compressors (50 – 520 bar) for Air and Nitrogen

The water-cooled multistage high-pressure compressors of the GIB-SP series are designed to compress air and nitrogen in the pressure range of 50 – 520 bar. All units of the series are based on the latest Bauer design, technical and software solutions and offer a wide range of options and functions to meet the challenges of industrial facilities.

The GIB-SP boosters are the ideal system solution for compressing air and nitrogen with existing pre-pressure. They are equipped with the B-CONTROL control system for maximum efficiency and lower production costs thanks to automatic adjustment of operating parameters. The filtration systems, which have been tested and proven in service life tests, ensure high quality of the compressed air or gas mixture.

Advantages of high-bar compressors of the GIB-SP series:

• fully automatic compressor control via the B-CONTROL MICRO system;
• low-vibration operation without the need for a foundation;
• easy maintenance due to the use of a V-belt drive.

The GIB-SP water-cooled high-bar compressor units meet the high demands of industrial use: high performance with low energy consumption, minimal oil consumption, and easy maintenance. A special feature of the units is their compact modular assembly. Based on this, mobile and stationary systems can be equipped for the tasks of a particular production, depending on the requirements for the compressed air mixture supply volume, suction and final pressure, operating time and other parameters. The configuration of the compressor unit allows to create various flow rates from 55 to 670 m ^3/h in the pressure range of 50 – 520 bar.

The crankshaft of the compressor unit, mounted on robust cylindrical roller bearings with pistons and connecting rods and packaged in a robust housing, is characterized by a smooth, vibration-free running. This is based on the engine’s precise dynamic balancing. The first-order mass balance is zero, and the bearing life of the compressor unit is about 30,000 hours.
