The GB series water-cooled compressors combine a simple yet robust design with the best of Bauer technology. They are used for compression of helium and inert gases in the pressure range of 90 – 330 bar and offer a wide range of functions to solve a wide range of gas-air compression applications.

Advantages of high-bar compressor units of the series:

• Full control. The compressors are equipped with the automatic operating parameter control systems B-CONTROL MICRO or B-CONTROL II. These are modern and easy-to-use SpC controls that monitor all compressor systems. The control is performed via a color touchscreen display and standard Ethernet and Modbus interfaces. These control systems allow you to change the base load or operating modes of the compressor depending on the requirements for the compressed gas mixture.
• Cost-effectiveness. The GB series high-pressure compressors are optimized for gas tightness. The gas from the safety valves is returned to the buffer tank and the gas from the automatic condensate drainage system is returned to the condensate collection tank. This creates a closed system that eliminates gas losses during plant operation.
• Functionality. Each individual compressor unit is tested continuously and undergoes extensive functionality and safety tests. The bearing system has a service life of more than 30,000 hours of continuous operation.
• Noiselessness. The compressor casing is soundproofed with Super Silent cladding for optimum noise reduction.
• Reliability. User-friendliness, ease of operation and maintenance were top priorities in the development of the GB series compressors. The simple design simplifies maintenance and extends service intervals. The pressure-resistant compressor crankcase and special piston design minimize gas losses, and the soft start technology reduces starting currents.
