Training of service engineers in maintenance and repair of nitrogen generators

In early April, the service center of Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine LLC held a regular training and certification of service engineers from the company’s branches in Kyiv. The objective of the training was to acquire knowledge and practical skills in commissioning, adjustment, repair, maintenance and operation of nitrogen generators using air flow and dew point measurement devices.

Practical training was held on a DNG 250 nitrogen generator, and a DALGAKIRAN TIDY 20 Compact compressor with a built-in dryer was used to supply compressed air.

During the practical training, the service engineers learned:

• Nitrogen gas production plants, their scope, purpose and technical characteristics;
• safety rules when working with equipment;
• control of pneumatic and electrical components;
• the process of setting up nodes to ensure the specified parameters and their adjustment;
• the software used;
• issues related to the maintenance and repair of nitrogen generators.
