Peace, labor, mechanism!
Compressors also contributed to progress. The first devices for air injection – primitive compressors – appeared with the discovery of metals. These first mechanisms were very simple. They were bladders driven by human hands and supplied air to trumpets. A fundamental innovation was a compressor made of fur boxes invented by Leonardo da Vinci in the 16th century. With the development of metallurgy and mining, the mechanism of air injection also improved. The end of the eighteenth century – 1762 – was marked by the invention of John Smeaton, who built a compressor driven by a water wheel. A decade later, in England, John Wilkinson first used a steam engine to drive a mechanical air compressor. At the end of the nineteenth century, the progress of mankind was directly linked to the invention of new and improved machines, and mechanical tools reached the apogee of their development. The progress was noticeable, as were the mechanisms themselves. The invention of the modern compressor also belongs to this era of the golden age of machines. In the following decades, this machine was modified, improved and adapted to activities in various industries.
But it’s one thing to invent, it’s another to use it properly. It was this issue – the production and adaptation of compressors to fulfill various industrial tasks – that a small Turkish workshop once took up. Over time, this production facility in Turkey has grown to become an international company, Dalgakiran, which covers more than a third of the domestic and 5% of the global compressor market. The labor success of the once modest company was facilitated by an understanding of the basics of the “right” mechanisms and a reverent attitude to work. The result was the production of equipment that brings joy to its creators and benefits to its consumers.
A worker and a collective farmer are symbols of a happy May Day. They are holding the tools of their trade. Involuntarily, one realizes that happiness is inseparable from work and the ability to create. The result of the work that brings satisfaction to the workers also pleases others. This approach was the basis of our company’s activities 57 years ago. We are trying to continue in the same spirit. May holidays are a great occasion to remind ourselves of this once again. The management of Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine congratulates all employees, partners and customers on the Labor Day! We want to wish you inexhaustible inspiration, successful projects, joy from work and satisfaction from achievements! Happy May Day!
