Istanbul – when work is a pleasure

The trip combined business and entertainment programs. Naturally, the first point of the trip was a visit to the Dalgakiran plant. The participants of the trip got acquainted with all stages of product creation, plant departments and once again made sure that the production meets all international standards. The culture of production, quality control of products during the manufacturing process and constant work on improving their equipment – this is what Turkish quality means for Dalgakiran. I was particularly impressed by the R&D department, where new compressor models are designed and tested. The R&D department can be called innovative. Here, the most daring technical and design solutions are tested in practice. Without this department, Dalgakiran’s international success would not have been possible. In fact, it is the heart of the company.

The meeting with the company’s founder, a talented engineer who managed to turn a small workshop into a well-known international company recognized on all continents of the world, was the culmination of the visit to the Dalgakiran plant. One can only admire the amount of charm, energy, incredible interest in life and reverent attitude to his company that Mr. Omer Dalgakiran has. After all, he started his business back in 1965! His story about the history of the development and expansion of his company fascinated all those present. It became obvious what heights a person can reach when his work brings him pleasure! People like Mr. Omer Dalgakiran are the embodiment of the best human qualities – hard work, honesty, dedication, and bring glory to their country. The second part of the trip included a cultural and excursion program. Representatives of Ukraine saw the elegant mosaics of the Blue Mosque, the vast expanses of Hagia Sophia, the soothing Topkapi Palace, and the unique Basilica Cistern. The grandeur of the 20-million metropolis was felt in a walk along the Bosphorus, among the shops of the Egyptian market, and in the halls of the archaeological museum. The abundance of impressions created the illusion that the employees of Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine had spent more than one week in hospitable Istanbul. This trip combined professional interest with the knowledge of the diversity and richness of the culture of a foreign country. It was an investment in positive emotions, broadening of horizons and, ultimately, a powerful incentive to work further.
