Economical cooling

Dalgakiran’s arsenal includes cooling systems that allow the chiller to operate both as a dry refrigerator and as a vapor compression machine. In this case, the cooling potential is used very efficiently, which saves energy. Such equipment is called a chiller with a free cooling option or an adiabatic cooling option.

This system is activated in summer when the ambient temperature rises above 35°C. The system is activated and reduces the gas pressure, thereby increasing the cooling capacity of the chiller. The compressor’s power consumption from the grid is reduced. In the autumn and winter, when the air temperature drops to 10°C and water, for example, needs to be supplied at +8°C, the system partially cools the water in the free cooling module and completes the cooling in the compressor and evaporator unit. This saves part of the electricity used for cooling. In winter, when the air temperature is around zero or below, only the free cooling module operates, and the compressor-evaporator unit does not turn on at all. In summer, the compressor-type refrigerator operates, and in the cold season, the free cooling system is used. The dry cooler is the same dry refrigerator built in as an additional module. It is controlled automatically. The control system monitors the set parameters of the ambient air temperature and the desired temperature, and adopts the optimal mode, which it achieves with minimal power consumption.

Dalgakiran specialists believe that before buying a cooling system, you should study the nuances of production technology and find out the specifics of the weather conditions where the production is located. Only then should you make a choice in favor of a combined or any other water cooling system.
