Gasoline generators of the DJ-BS series by Briggs & Stratton are equipped with single- and two-cylinder Vanguard engines (assembled by Mitsubishi, Japan) with cast iron cylinder liners. These units are equipped with a lubrication system with pressurized oil supply and filtration, as well as an automatic shutdown system when the oil level drops. The engines are designed for long-term operation (24 hours a day). Gasoline mini-power plants equipped with such engines are recommended for use as regular power supply systems, not just backup.
