Efficiency of work

Fuel consumption also depends on the load on the engine and the mode of operation. The average fuel consumption for this power is 34 liters per hour. Why does the performance data show the consumption based on 75% engine load? In most cases, the DES 200 power plant does not operate at full capacity, and the maximum power is taken with a “reserve” for peak consumption.
In practice, it often happens that the power consumption schedule for a facility, depending on the time of day, can vary by 50% or more. In such cases, it is more rational to use two synchronized generators. Peak consumption means that both generators operate, minimum consumption means that one of them is put into reserve. This option can be more economical than a single generator of higher capacity. Greater complexity at the stage of creating the system will result in lower diesel fuel consumption and less wear and tear on the equipment.
